I'm a photographer based out of Guelph, Ontario with a passion for mental health, social issues, and storytelling (kitschy, I know, but there it is).

Here's the thing: every job you can think of, I've done it. I free floated through retail, banking, stand-up comedy, you name it before living in Los Angeles for a year and discovering digital marketing. From there I ran a successful consultancy for seven (7) years before deciding I wanted to do something meaningful to my core.

Honouring that I've always been creative, empathetic and a storyteller, photography was a logical jump! I now blend my analytical side with my creative side, leaning on my previous history in marketing to create images that tell stories.

This has brought me to my practice today! The problem with business, and the photography business is that we're told we all have to niche down: I do not think this is true. I came to photography because I have so many wildly varied interests and want to creatively engage with it all. This is why I'm just as happy to photograph a house as I am a body positive boudoir shoot, I'm just as excited to do food photography (god I love food) as much as I am to immortalize your pet.  I also wanted to connect my practice to things I care about, which is why I do various works and chat on social media about mental health. Sometimes I think talking about something endlessly doesn't help, which is why I use photography as a vehicle.

On a human level, I live in Puslinch, Ontario with my husband and

family. A lefty, I'm heavily tattooed and a vegetarian. I'm constantly going

to the movies, love live theatre, and am a voracious reader when I get

into a book.

      So welcome!
